So-named by the owner, the existing quasi-Alps log home has been gutted and refitted with contemporary spaces, surfaces and elements. These include floor to ceiling glazed openings, a sinuous ceiling profile in the great room and a wraparound exterior screen in cor-ten steel, embedded with bay windows and supporting an elevated catwalk.
